Andrew Koss - Owner and Producer

A true New York native, Andrew Koss is the creator and founder of Tainted Blue Studios, located in the heartof Times Square, NYC.  Prior to starting Tainted Blue Studios, Andrew's first venture was a home-built studio in Boston, MA where he had the opportunity to work alongside talented artists whose musical genres ranged from Pop and Metal to everything in between.  

Limited by the constraints of working with a more traditional production studio and public recording facility, Andrew was determined to realize his dream of creating a non-restrictive, comfortable workspace that fostered musical vision and creativity. In Fall 2003, it was then that Andrew's vision came true and Tainted Blue Studios became a reality.

Andrew attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he holds a dual BA in Song Writing and Music Synthesis.  He lives in Manhattan with his wife, Maxine, daughter Rebecca, and their two dogs, Sable and Charlie

Matthew McCorkle - Head Engineer

Matt McCorkle is a passionate and dedicated sound recordist & mixer based out of New York City. His work has been heard world-wide on musical albums, television shows, feature length films, short films, radio stations, and commercials. When he's not recording in the studio, Matt can be found recording remotely with his mobile production company, Equal Sonics.

Jesse Rothman- Assistant

Jesse is one of the most recent additions to the Tainted Blue staff.  A lover of all things entertainment, Jesse is a drummer and singer at heart, and has been for most of his life.  While passionate about writing and performing, he is also highly interested in the technical and behind the scenes aspects of film and music production, and doubles as the studio facilitator and loud mouthed representative.
