Tainted Blue Recording Studio is a one-of-a-kind music and event facility located in the heart of Times Square, New York. For years, Tainted Blue was part of the legendary QUAD Studios and has played home to recording artists such as Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Paul McCartney, Coldplay and more.

Our loft-style penthouse facility is best known for its exclusivity, flexibility and relaxed, but sharply modern décor. We have one-of-a-kind partnerships with sponsors including: Arizona Iced Tea, Blue Microphones, Gibson Guitars, Livestream, Sonicbids, Fanbridge, The Orchard, Maxim Magazine & Blender.com.

The control room plays home to a brand new, customized Euphonix System 5 console.  This console offers the latest in digital audio technology and full integration with Pro-Tools.   We also boast a large gear list featuring both modern and vintage gear. In addition, we are one of the only rooms on the East Coast with an Antelope Atomic Clock on the recording end that eliminates jitters and balances out recordings.  

With our vintage Steinway, 2 custom drum kits, Carr and Bogner boutique amps, 15+ guitars on hand, vintage and modern synths, and a closet full of percussion instruments, we offer ready to go access to all the sounds you could need!
